Staying at Hotel Du Vin & Bistro Harrogate was a good experience for our family. The spa facilities were a true highlight, with professional staff making the treatments lovely. Afternoon tea was splendid as well. We enjoyed the lovely surroundings, proximity to landmarks like RHS Garden Harlow Carr, and relaxing in the garden area. it was a great family getaway!

The weather was sunny, had lovely stay for night before visiting Harrogate Flower show. The location was marvellous and good, around 10-15 minutes walk from Turkish Baths Harrogate. This hotel was in a really comfortable area near to the Alexander pub on the next corner for reasonabe priced food. Everything was simply lovely.

By far the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Harrogate. We have been attending the trade shows there every year for decades and always ended up in a tired and faded old big hotel. This is at last a quality boutique hotel that is not out of date. The service and facilities were excellent. Free fast wi fi. Nespresso coffee machines in the room. Great bistro with an excellent wine list to match. Have already booked for Birmingham next month in sister hotel. Highly recommended if you wish to pay for quality.
The beds and pillows were a bit on the soft side.

I had a lovely romantic escape here! The location is fantastic, right near beautiful parks and local attractions. The atmosphere is charming, and I especially enjoyed the cozy lounge area. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated, perfect for a getaway. Breakfast was delicious-had the Bircher muesli, and it was to die for!

The staff were more then helpful. We ate I'n the restaurant in the evening and the food was 10/10. We also had a nice breakfast but one more sausage would have been nice! The bathroom was fab really deep bath tub and the shower was great.

An optimal selection for a short visit in Harrogate with good value for money. The location was excellent for exploring the town. Be aware that the hotel could benefit from a good clean and update.

On Sunday 28th March the evening staff in the restaurant were excellent. Food ok but not hot enough. Restaurant staff on Monday 29th March (breakfast) were poor. Forgot the toast - no butter - Marmite and Nutella but no honey! Setting up for lunch instead of clearing our plates. a guest on the next table found an enormous hair in their scrambled eggs. Not a great experience!

The hotel conversion has been beautifully done - we liked the basement area (great for a game of pool!) I would like to particularly mention the sommelier in the restaurant, very knowledgeable and helpful - and the charmiing guy on the bar who was full of information - one of the main attractions of the hotels are the wine lists and the Harrogate ' branch' did not disappoint. We dined with some friends in the restaurant who were really impressed with the food. We will definitely go back.

Consider exploring local dining beyond the hotel for a more authentic experience. the area has some hidden gems that are worth visiting.

Hotel Du Vin, as a brand, is simply unparalled in affordable luxury. If I was honest, and I am (!!), the prices could be a little lower but my stay was enjoyable from the moment I checked in until I checked out.
